Republic Day 2022 Wishes: India celebrates 26th January every year as it’s Republic Day. On this day in the year 1950 Indian constitution was adopted and our country became a republic, this signifies the celebration of this remarkable day. Going back to history, India got independence on 15th August in the year 1957, up till this date Britishers were ruling India for over 200years. Then on 26th January 1950 the constitution was adopted and India became a democratic republic nation. Dr. Rajendra Prasad became the first president of democratic India. An interesting fact to know is that the Indian constitution is said to be the lengthiest in the whole world.
In 1929, the Indian National Congress declared complete self rule, which means poorna swaraj in hindi, and then the Indian National flag was hosted on the banks of Ravi river by Jawaharlal Nehru.
The Indian Constitution was adopted on 26th November,1949 and many people and great leaders thought that it is necessary to celebrate this remarkable moment of adoption of the constitution and then 26 January, 1950 was the date chosen for this national pride .
Happiness, joy and patriotism can be seen on everyone’s face on this remarkable day. The capital city,Delhi, is the center of attraction for everyone on this day. The IndianNational flag, tiranga, is hosted in Delhi at Rajpath in presence of both the president and prime minister of India.
The moment which finds place in every individual’s heart is the republic day parade which reflects the diversity and culture of various Indian states, union territories and the glory, bravery and power of the Indian army, Indian navy , Indian air force and parliamentary forces.
In Spite of political differences and conflict, many ministers of different parties attend the republic day function at Rajpath which signifies the unity and affection of Indians for each other and their country.
One can witness India’s magnificent defense power through display of newest aircrafts,missiles, weapons and much more at Rajpath. The grand energetic celebration usually ends with an air show and flypasts performed by the Indian Air Force.
On this day patriotism and zeal can be seen everywhere, especially in schools, universities and societies, where children and youth perform different cultural and folk dances, sing Indian National song and show their love for the nation.
This day brings all communities together leaving behind all differences and conflicts. This day brings joy, love, affection and great respect in everyone’s heart for our great leaders who fought for our country’s independence and made India a republic nation.
